The jet-setting readers of Travel + Leisure magazine recognized Majestic America Line as delivering an exemplary small-ship cruise experience in the publication's annual "World's Best Awards" survey, announced in July 2007. Majestic America Line made its debut with an eighth place ranking, becoming the only company to make the top 10 that exclusively sails domestically. Readers rated contenders in the small-ship cruise category on a variety of criteria, including service, itineraries, and destinations, food, cabins, entertainment and activities, and value. Winners in all categories were featured in the August 2007 issue of Travel + Leisure. |

Condé Nast Traveler - 2007 Reader’s Choice Awards
In January 2007, Majestic America Line’s 223-guest ship, the Empress of the North, was recognized as one of the highest rated small cruise ships in the world by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler. Judged on seven criteria, the Empress of North placed eighth in the competitive small ship category for vessels which accommodate fewer than 500 guests. The Empress earned an outstanding overall score of 91.5, with readers awarding a perfect 100 in crew/service. The prestigious honor was published in the publication’s 2007 Cruise Poll, an annual guide to the world’s top cruise ships. |
